Theofanis G. Theofanous who is the recipient of the 1996 TECHNICAL
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from the Thermal Hydraulics Division.

	Would you please also arrange to have an Awards Plaque prepared for Prof.
Theofanous with the following citation:

In recognition for his many unique scientific contributions to nuclear
reactor safety and his impact on the technical community as editor and
outstanding leader in promoting the Thermal Hydraulics Division.

	I will pick up the check and plaque on Tuesday morning, November 12,
before the THD Awards Presentation at the Winter Annual Meeting in
Washington, DC.  Please arrange for an ANS photographer to be present for
the awards presentation at 4:25 pm in Room Maryland C on November 12, 1996.
